JCB's new DIESELMAX engines use up to 10% less fuel, saving you money. This is partly due to the fact that the DIESELMAX engines produce high torque at only 1500–1600 rpm, allowing better efficient matching of the hydraulic system. StrengthThe heavy-duty undercarriage of a JS220 is of a fully welded X-frame construction for long-term durability even in the most demanding applications, and the rigid upper frame provides maximum durability and support. • The reinforced boom and bucket are made of high-tensile steel, with three-piece plates and cast ends for greater strength and durability. • The robust cast ends and pivot joints make the new boom and arm of this tracked excavator extremely strong. • The JS220 upper structure is welded to the upper and lower undercarriage frames, and the rigid and durable doors provide more strength. Operator comfortThe JCB JS220 has excellent front visibility, with a 70/30 front windshield split, and a clear view of the right front track, for digging and trench maneuvering easily and safely. • For tremendous speed and control, a JCB JS220 has balanced swing and electro-hydraulically controlled braking. • It can also be configured with proportional auxiliary control options for greater smoothness and precision. • An easy-to-read 7" color multifunction display provides instant operating information and has customizable startup screens.
