The ELITE model GBT 851 is our CNC automatic side grinding machine for circular saws with tungsten carbide teeth, from ø100 to ø850 mm. in diameter. It is similar to the GBT 850 but includes one more CNC axis that allows the machine to be fully automatic in each adjustment of the tooth geometry, totaling 5 CNC axes.

This version is equipped with a double grinding wheel; its CNC operation with a 10.1" color LCD screen allows for precise and fast sharpening of the tooth flanks to manufacture carbide circular saws or repair recently welded teeth when replacing teeth. It is designed for automated operation without unnecessary additional costs. There are no complicated extras that can easily break or require costly repairs. ELITE GBT 851. HOW IT WORKS. Very simple programming through a guided menu or by entering grinding data.

Fully automatic operation using 5 CNC axes: A: Tooth pitch, X: Sharpening path, Y1: Left tangential angle of wheel No. 1, Y2: Right tangential angle of wheel No. 2, Z: Lateral angle. Completely enclosed cabin for silent operation with a very fast door opening system that guarantees quick mounting of the saw blade and access door for maintenance. Saw diameter from 100 to 850 mm, suitable for grinding the flanks of scoring discs or portable machines, as well as sawmill saws.

Tooth pitch programmable from the control panel. Easy-to-use control panel. The control panel features a color touch screen designed with a fast and easy-to-use interface that enhances user-friendliness. Creating or editing a program while the machine is running is also possible. The machine includes a standard LED cabin light. The tooth pitch is programmable through the software on the control panel. The color touch screen control panel allows for the creation or editing of a program while the machine operates another program. Programmable values include: Tooth angle programming: the grinding wheel axis will automatically move to the entered value in the program.

Sharpening path, sharpening load, sharpening speed, tooth pitch, indexing movement of the tooth feeding pawl, number of teeth, grinding wheel rotation speed variable from 5,000 to 9,000 RPM. The direct grinding wheel spindles are adjustable between 5,000 to 9,000 RPM for optimal sharpening quality with minimal grinding wheel wear. The spindles are driven by a frequency inverter, allowing for adjustment of the grinding wheel speed to the optimal value as well as reduced energy consumption.

Integrated refrigeration equipment. The machine operates with water-soluble coolant or grinding oil for better sharpening quality and longer grinding wheel life. Integrated coolant system with a 220-liter tank and removable grates for easy cleaning. Easy access and maintenance. At the back of the machine, the electrical panel is located at the bottom and the mechanical system at the top, both protected by corresponding easy-access panels, which also reduces the total space needed for the machine.
