The gas cylinder storage unit is designed for outdoor use, constructed to comply with the German Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS 510). These regulations specify requirements for the safe storage of hazardous substances in portable containers, including gas cylinders.
Key features of the storage unit include a robust construction made of sturdy steel sheet and back wall, ensuring durability and compliance with TRGS 510 standards. It is equipped with battery doors that can be securely closed, providing protection against unauthorized access and environmental factors. The lateral walls are made of wire mesh, allowing for adequate ventilation, which is a critical safety requirement for gas cylinder storage. Designed with floor plates for ground anchoring, it enhances stability and prevents the unit from tipping over. The floor includes mounting plates capable of supporting up to 1,000 kg per square meter, accommodating the weight of multiple gas cylinders.
According to TRGS 510, gas cylinders must be stored upright and secured against falling over. The valves should be protected with suitable devices, such as caps or collars. Additionally, the storage area must be adequately ventilated to prevent the accumulation of hazardous gases.
