Description
The Lift Hook Arm series B transforms the TORO Elevator into a mobile crane. This accessory is specifically designed for lifting loads where high load capacity is required, allowing close proximity to the work site. The high-strength arm is attached directly to the elevator carriage using M12 screws (included), eliminating the need for forks.
The adapter known as Mobile Crane Lift Converter – Ref. ACT-05 serves the same purpose by providing an efficient lifting solution for heavy loads. It is important to note that if the Lift Hook Arm series B is to be used solely with the ACT-05 adapter and therefore the forks will not be required, this must be indicated, and the elevator will be supplied without forks, deducting their price.
The specifications of the adapter vary depending on the model of the elevator. For the TORO Series B Elevators, the Adapter Ref. ACT-05/B is used, with a net weight of 4.50 kg; for the TORO Series C Elevators, the Adapter Ref. ACT-05/C is utilized, with a net weight of 7.00 kg; and for the TORO Series D Elevators, the Adapter Ref. ACT-05/D is used, with a net weight of 7.50 kg. It should be noted that this adapter is not compatible with Series A elevators. The load capacity of the crane is reduced when using this hook-arm.
The Hook Arm Ref. ACT-05 allows for the lifting and installation of glass by placing a suction cup adapter. It can also be used for lifting motors, hoists, tools, circuit breakers, etc., maximizing the functions of the elevator. If this adapter is to be used and it is necessary to insert the front legs at the back of the tower, counterweights must be placed. GUIL manufactures a practical tray (ref. CB-01) and counterweights (ref. CW-01/20) for this purpose.
The Lift Hook Arm series B is made of steel with a textured EPOXY paint finish, providing resistance against rust and scratches, and features a double treatment to ensure proper maintenance during its use outdoors.
