Description

The largest welding machine for carbon steel and occasional bimetal band saws. It handles wood band saws from 20 to 80 mm (0.78" to 3.15"), incorporating electronic control of welding and annealing current.

Features greater sensitivity in the welding and annealing of thin strips of stainless steel and bimetal band saws without the need for additional flux, performing in just a few seconds. It includes electronic current control for both welding and annealing.

The SOLDAmaq 80 operates with a resistance welding system, where both ends of the saw are melted together while being pressed, representing the best system for steel. The "Push and play" band saw welding design allows following the provided welding parameters based on the thickness and width of the saw; simply close the clamping jaws and press the welding button. It enables both welding and tempering of the weld in a single clamping operation without the addition of extra material or flux. For burr elimination, the SOLDAmaq EC deburring machine can be optionally purchased.

Technical specifications of the SOLDAmaq 80 include the ability to weld steel band saws with a width from 20 to 80 mm (0.78" to 3.15") and a thickness from 0.6 to 1.2 mm (0.023" to 0.063"). The cross-section for steel band saws is 72 mm², and for bimetal band saws, it is 38 mm². The machine has an installed power of 8 kW. Dimensions for the SOLDAmaq 80 are 980 x 760 x 960 mm, with a weight of 200 Kg.
