Description
The John Deere 331 rotary conditioner mower is designed to provide efficient cutting and optimal conditioning of forage. It has a cutting width of 3.10 meters (10.17 feet), making it suitable for various applications. This model is equipped with eight discs that carry a total of 16 blades, ensuring a complete and efficient cut. Each disc operates at a speed of 2,986 rpm.
The blade system includes reversible and retractable blades, with a quick-change system that allows for blade replacement in minutes without the need for specialized tools. Its conditioner is optimized by a belt-driven system that features six rows of eight steel tines rotating at 888 rpm, allowing for efficient conditioning of the forage.
The cutting height can be adjusted between 30 mm and 80 mm, offering flexibility for different types of crops. Additionally, the mower features a non-stop protection system that allows the cutting bar to tilt back and lift when encountering obstacles, automatically returning to its working position.
For transport, the mower folds horizontally to less than 2.5 meters, improving transportability and rear visibility. Its hydraulic lift and lower capability from the cabin allows for quick and tight turns.
