Rectangular scrap electromagnets
The rectangular scrap electromagnets of the DIMET EMG SCRAP-V series are intended for handling scrap, chips and pig iron ingots. These heavy-duty, high-power rectangular electromagnets have a rectangular shape and are large in size. These units are designed for unloading wagons filled with metal scrap. Special models can also be manufactured for underwater operations and heat-resistant models for hot loads (up to 650 ˚С).
Benefits
- The solid special welded casing is designed for use under unfavorable environmental conditions and has a large heat transfer surface and a reinforced shockproof layer to protect the two-piece terminal boxes.
- The high-quality wire with increased insulation significantly reduces the risk of turn-to-turn short circuit. This wire makes the electromagnet especially easy to repair, since in the event of a failure only the coil must be rewound.
- The thermal insulation seal provides an optimal coil temperature during use of the electromagnet with loads of up to 650° C, thus ensuring load capacity stability.
- The high-quality filling compound prevents an electrical breakdown between the coil wire and the casing and reduces overheating of the electromagnetic coil.
- The reinforced shielding plate provides reliable protection for the coil with a significantly longer service life of the electromagnet. The clamping bands of the electromagnets are made of 09G2S-grade steel, which is characterized by high strength and greater wear resistance.
