Description
The SOLDAmaq 80 is designed as the largest welding machine for welding carbon steel and occasionally bi-metal band saws. It accommodates wood band saws with widths ranging from 20 mm to 80 mm (0.78" to 3.15") and features advanced electronic control for both welding and annealing currents.
This machine offers greater sensitivity in welding and annealing thin bands of stainless steel and bi-metal band saws, achieving results without the need for additional flux within a matter of seconds. Key features include electronic current control and electronic annealing current.
The SOLDAmaq 80 operates using a resistance welding system where both ends of the saw are melted together while being pressed, providing an effective solution for steel. The "push and play" interface simplifies the welding process; users merely need to follow the pre-defined parameters based on the saw's thickness and width, then engage the clamping jaws and press the welding button. Welding and tempering can be executed in a single clamping operation without the need for supplementary material or flux. For burr elimination, the optional SOLDAmaq EC deburring machine can be acquired separately.
